This Ladder runs the LRB6 version of the Living Rulebook. Additionally including the Slaan, Chaos Pact and Underworld teams, plus 3 additional teams from the MBBL/MBBL2.

Kids, just say no to Demons. - October 12th, 2010

Conflicted Star, and tarnished role model.

The Blood Bowl world was shaken today by news of the untimely death of Thorstein, star of the Solstheim Strikers. Originally a charismatic spokesman for the anti-doping body WADA (Warpstone and Demonology Association), Thorstein recently combined a suspicious increase in strength, with a quiet shunning of his previous anti-doping work.

Thorstein died, doing what he loved best - hurting people - on the pitch. A gentle stab from the Chaos Cup blessed Ogre Action Gerry split him in two.

Perhaps the rumours were true, and Thorstein really had made pacts with unknown forces. How else can the community explain the unusual circumstances of his death?

New Season begins...

Season IV has started, and the end of Season III cup is currently under way.

This year we also have the inagural running of The Lowdown Cup, with entry restricted only to teams with an honest shot at last place.

Wee-Folk Season II Cup moral victors!

It's official, the Wee-Folk team Golden Shower are Season II Cup moral champions!

With the victory of the Bleeding Savage team in the final, combined with the fact that the Wee Folk gloriously defeated them 2-1 earlier in the season, the Golden Shower are our indisputable moral victors!

Shock Cup result! January 9th, 2010

In a result not even predicted by 'Mad Lady Quigley', official prognosticator to the Nuffle Football League, The Morder Maulers, last season's Cup runner ups, and favourites to take this season's Cup have been knocked out in the first round! Going down 2-Nil to the un-fancied, and some might say, un-fanciable, Crunch Test Dummies.

Coach Will of The Mordor Maulers denies all allegations of betting related match-fixing, and is quoted as saying "It was 2-0 to the Dummies, nobody could fake a beating that severe!

End of Season II Tournament

The draw for the end of season II tournament took place earlier today.

Savage Orc Epic Fail - August 7th, 2009

In a shocking result that has Nuffle-fearing Fans warding themselves against the evil eye, and praying that it won't happen to their team, the Wee Folk team 'Golden Shower' have recorded a win!

Team 'Bleeding Savage', once considered a possible contender for this season's title, went down 2-1 to the 'Golden Shower'.

With the score standing at a touchdown a piece, 9 Wee Folk in the casualty box, another 3 in the knock-out box, and the ball carried by a taken-root treeman, things seems to be all set for a tie. An almost unprecedentally good result for the Wee Folk.
However Coach Ciaran of the Bleeding Savage's shame had not yet peaked! A hand-off from the immobile treeman to a digger gnome! The catch was perfect! The Dodge even better, and with some sprinting from the gnome it was all over, bar the Savage Orcs never-ending shame.

Sadly, few of the Wee Folk survived to learn of their momentous victory.

Chaos Dynamics win Season I Tournament - July 16th, 2009

The Chaos Dynamics today defeated the Mordor Maulers 2-1, in extra time, to win the end of Season I Tournament final.

The Maulers led 1-0, thanks to a flying goblin, until turn 16 of the 2nd half. Then succumbing to the continued Chaos bashing, the Maulers were unable to stop Strongsy of the Dynamics slipping in to touch down for the equaliser.
In extra time, the Maulers won the toss and chose to receive, but could only field 9 of their 15 man team, against an entirely un-reduced Dynamics.
Turn 7 of extra time saw a ten man Dynamics bash their way into the end-zone over the remaining 5 Maulers for the win.

Our collective light is dimmed. - July 14th, 2009

Poet philosopher and secret humanitarian.

The Blood Bowl firmament has noticeably darkened today. Its brightest light, Ziggy P. Ziggurat, star player, coach, and heart of the top flight Chaos Dwarf team 'The Ziggy Ziggurats' is no more.

Ziggy was a Bull Centaur both of unusual physical strength and unusual depths. Famously described by his junior team coach as an Enigma wrapped in a Puzzle, surrounded by Mystery, Ziggy was both a fierce Blood Bowl player and a secret humanitarian.
What none but his closest friends knew was that all of Ziggy's rich on-pitch earnings went to his 'Skool fur da Kare of de urchins.' Manys the poor baby gutter runner who owed both his orphaning, and subsequent schooling, to Ziggy's kind ministrations.

We hope to bring you a quote from Ziggy himself if his killers, the Nurgle 'Team Face', manage to successfully add him to their roster.

National Day of Mourning - Jan 8th, 2009

Lover, wit, raconteur, ball-player extraordinaire. Sleep well sweet child. We'll not see your like again.

Today we mourn the passing of a legend - Mor sel, star ghoul of the highly rated Neherakan Black Nights.

Both unusually strong, and agile for a ghoul - Mor sel almost single handedly led the Black Nights to win after win.
With his loss, the team finds itself at a turning point. Onwards and upwards in memory of brave Mor sel, or a slow spiral down-wards into the minors?
Mike Tangney, head coach of the Knights was quoted as saying, 'Bollocks!'.

Importing Existing Teams

At the ladder start-up time there will be a once off optional import of 1 pre-existing team per ladder member.

The pre-existing team must come from either the most recent UGG or DGG Blood Bowl Leagues.
